Hi I’m Rachael!
A constant culture seeker and wanderer of the world. I thrive off of new experiences, meaningful exploration and being immersed in culture.
As someone who has never been able to sit still, yoga is my reason to pause, to reflect and to just slow down; To focus on the simplicity of my breath; To create balance and peace within; To let go of the chaos and constant goings-on of the outside world.
I have learned to find solace in stillness; To find gratitude in movement. To flow between the two, has led me to create an innovative and open practice that encourages energetic expansion of the body, mind and soul.
Rooted in the arts, my journey to yoga began 14 years ago. It taught me to own my truth, find my narrative and nourish my light. In 2020, I dove deeper into the ancient harmonizing art of yoga and began my instructional training to become a 200-hour registered yoga teacher.

About the Retreat
LOOKING FOR THE PERFECT GETAWAY VALENTINE’S WEEKEND?!
Join me on a 6 day, 5 night, Couples Yoga & Adventure Retreat through the jungle of Belize.
Our journey takes place at the intimate eco-friendly Jungle Lodge, Sweet Songs. Here you’ll be immersed in 20 acres of lush tropical forest with the Macal River just steps away. We’ll enjoy daily yoga sessions, non-stop adventures, a beyond gorgeous infinity pool -overlooking the river, along with river tubing and kayaking.
Highlights of our week together include an Indiana Jonesesque adventure tour of the infamous ATM Cave (Actun Tunichil Muknal) a Mayan archaeological site that includes skeletons, ceramics, and stoneware. There are several areas with skeletal remains in the main chamber; The best known is “The Crystal Maiden”, the skeleton of what is believed to be a 17-year-old boy, whose bones have been calcified to a sparkling, crystallized appearance.
In addition, we’ll trek across the border to Guatemala to enjoy one of the most beautiful sunsets in Central America atop the ruins of Yaxha. The next night, we’ll enjoy a second sunset on a guided horseback riding tour through the jungles of Belize.
Sweet Songs is a true nature lover’s paradise, and the picture perfect location to spend a week away together. It holds a special place in my heart as it’s where my husband and I got married. We can’t wait to spend the week adventuring, connecting, relaxing and flowing through the jungle with you. Classes will range from Gentle Flow to Power Vinyasa to Restorative Meditation. Upgrade to tree house accommodation for the most romantic, luxurious getaway.

Actun Tunichil Muknal (ATM Cave) Full Day Tour; Together we’ll hike to the location, wade across rushing rivers in waist-deep water, climb wet ladders inside a cave in just our socks, then enter a deep, dark hole in the side of a mountain. This is one of the more difficult tours offered in Belize, but the effort is well-worth the experience.

Yaxha Sunset Half Day Tour to Guatemala; Together we’ll climb up the the top of a temple and experience one of the most breathtaking sunsets in Central America.

Horseback Nature Ride through the lush jungles of Cayo; We’ll again enjoy sunset views from a special lookout.

Sunrise Yoga each morning on the pool deck or lush jungle gardens.
